Dr. Susan Kay, DOM
Detox Specialist, Reiki Master
Dr. Susan is a graduate of the International Institute of Chinese Medicine. She is nationally Board certified in Acupuncture and in Eastern and Western Herbalogy. She also holds a New Mexico State license to practice Oriental Medicine along with a National License in Detoxificaton. She has been trained in Acutonics, Koryo Hand Therapy (KHT), Reflexology, Shiatsu, Tui Na (Chinese Massage), Tibetan Pulsations (skin rolling), and Auriculotherapy. She has studied under Kiiko Matsumoto and incorporates the Matsumoto methodology into every treatment plan.
This practitioner’s energy work covers a wide array of modalities. She is a Master of both, Karuna and Usui Methods of Reiki. Dr. Susan is a Young Living Oils Distributor and an Aromatherapist. She offers Rain Drop Therapy along with the skills and knowledge of using Bach Flower and American Flower Essences. The appropriate essence is determined by using her skills in Kinesiology and Clairvoyance. “Usually the client’s body will tell me what it needs and at what time.”
Dr. Susan also uses CranioSacral therapy and, Holographic Repatterning. She collects and prepares local herbs, creating her own organic salves, and tinctures. Dr. Susan’s Clairvoyant and Clairaudient gifts guide her to use as many as ten different modalities during one treatment session allowing for the client’s accelerated, holistic healing.
Dr. Susan believes, “We are all in this together, and my job is to keep you on your Life Path by assisting in your Mind/Body/Spirit Balancing. If any of the three is out of balance then DIS-ease creeps in.”
